Remembering Laurie McCulloch
We were sad to hear of the passing of Laurie McCulloch. We offer our sincere condolences to Laurie's friends and family at this time. Laurie and Vi have always been big supporters of the AHAEC. When we had 400 horse shows in Ontario, Laurie & Vi showed many entries the most memorable was their beautiful big bay stallion, Khala Nar. Laurie was a supporter of the RAWF also when he resurfaced the footing in the Horse Palace ring a few years ago.

Sad News : The Loss of David Dinsmore

David and Jean have been long time founding members of this organization. We appreciate all that you both have done for our organization and the Arabian horse.
Jill Barton - the Equestrian Canada 2018 VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR !!
Jill Barton of Odessa, ON has devoted more than 40 years to volunteering in the equestrian community in Canada.
The Volunteer of the Year Award was created in 1998 to recognize the tireless volunteers who have selflessly contributed to the advancement of equine and equestrian interests in Canada. This award is an acknowledgement of the hard work and dedication of individuals who so generously give their time in order to support the goals and vision of Equestrian Canada (EC).
New Changes to Animal Enforcement Services in Ontario
Changes are coming to animal care enforcement in Ontario. Earlier this year, the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA) announced they would not sign a new contract for their services with the Ontario government.
